About Blue Horizons

A local organization aimed at improving the learning experience of high school students through free tutoring, creating a valuable student to student network. Founded in late 2024.

Our mission

Many students don't get tutoring due to the long wait times for a tutor or the cost. Recently tutoring costs have gotten even higher. Personally, I saw someone offering tutoring for $60 an hour for high school chemistry. With the current state of tutoring being unnecessarily complicated and expensive for students, we decided to be the change.

So, our tutoring is completely free. Furthermore, we understand the work and time it takes to be a tutor, which is why we offer double volunteer hours. We want to ensure that learning stays a right, not a privilege.

Our story

Originally started in Eastvale, California, the goals and values of the non-profit has stayed the same. We are still the start of our story, but are planning ahead for the future.

Our goals in the future are to expand our company, reaching worldwide and to become an officially recognized non-profit. Either way, we promise to keep tutoring here free forever.
